There’s something pretty special about photographing a couple in a place that already means so much to them.
Bailey and Marcus’ engagement session was a little different because we decided to make it a two-part session, and for the first half, we headed to their farm and brought the horses into the mix.
And honestly? It was the perfect evening for it.
The light was gorgeous, the horses were doing their thing, and Bailey and Marcus were able to just enjoy being together in a place that feels like home. We spent the evening capturing the little moments between the big ones — the laughs, the quiet moments, the horses wandering into the frame, and all the pieces that make their story uniquely theirs.
I always love when an engagement session feels less like a photoshoot and more like spending an evening doing something you already love. Adding their horses and their farm made this session feel personal, relaxed, and completely them.
The evening light did not disappoint, either. Between the open fields, the horses, and that golden glow, we had more than enough to work with.
And this is only Part 1…
We’re not done with Bailey and Marcus just yet. 😉
Stay tuned for Part 2 of their engagement session!
