Angela’s neighbor that let us use his farm to do a photoshoot at sunset did a little photoshoot as well.  He is a cowboy who has worked that land his entire life.  We did some with his sweet horse, who he raised from a colt on his farm, and captured him in his element.

He had his saddle he had for years and he said he hadn’t ever done a photoshoot before and he was a little nervous but I think he rocked his photoshoot.  He did everything I asked him to do and was such a natural in front of the camera.

It was an honor to spend a few hours with him and get to see him in his element.
My grandfather that I was so close with grew up in the same area and he reminded me of my grandfather so much.  It felt so good to be back where my grandfather grew up and to get to know the area a little better.

Here are a few pictures of Loren and his horse on his farm in Iowa.
