Farm Maternity Session

Having my pictures taken is not one of my most favorite things but I know it has to be done.

Tasha Barbour of Tasha Barbour Photography is a good friend of mine and she came over and did some beautiful headshots and maternity pictures.  At the time of our maternity pictures I was only about 7 months and I could still kind of hind the bump under a few layers of clothes. After a few headshots, I changed into a dress, which I wasn’t a huge fan of but I tried to dress up, but I kept my boots on underneath because we had so much rain and it was still really muddy.

We took the horses and headed out into the pasture.  We did some with the horses and a few without.  Then of course we had to add the cows and the dogs.  When you live on a farm all of the animals have to be involved some way or how.  Plus Chris loves having his picture taken with the cows, with me not so much.

Just a few more short weeks now and we will be adding a new member to the farm, Lyza Jane.  She is due May 28, 2019 but if she is anything like the two of us I’m sure she will make her entrance late and when she is ready!
