I think this part of the trip was one of my favorite days.  We headed out from Cody, Wyoming over to Powell to see the wild mustangs at the Pryor Mountain Mustang Center.  There is a lower drive that you can take and sometimes you can see a band if they are moving.  Someone told us that they had spotted a herd close to the lake so we took off down there.  The mustangs were wandering around the boat docks and eating grass around the volleyball courts.

I took a lot of pictures and we thought we would give them a little bit of time to move out from around there so we rode over to Horseshoe Bend and watched some boats go by and some hawks flying around.  The sun was starting to set so we drove back over to where the mustangs had been and they had moved out into the area beside the boat dock with the red mountains behind them right at sunset.  It had to be one of the coolest things I ever got to do!
