Farm Session
I first met Kristal at a ranch sorting that I was shooting a local event. If you have never watched ranch sorting, it is a lot of fun and these people can get ranchy really quick!!
She reached out to me and wanted to do a family session (farm session) on their family farm. Well of course I was on board because it involves farms and horses and that is exactly what I love. We started with a few of them without horses but we did pull a few of the dogs in. Then we pulled out ALL of their horses and started having fun. We did some mounted, some on the ground. I don’t think there was ever a time that we weren’t laughing or goofing off.
After the shoot I hung out for a little while and got to meet some more of their horses. They have some of their old retired horses that get to hang out and enjoy life. They even have a horse that likes to bow. Getting to spend time with people before and after a shoot are some of my favorite times. I even picked up my camera and captured a few more pictures and some of them ended up being my favorite.
