Best Friend Equine Portraits in Stony Point, NC
Amy & April have been best friends for many years! The mane (haha) thing they have in common is HORSES!! They share a love of barrel racing, trail riding, and just enjoying being best friends.

Right before their session there was a terrible thunderstorm, lighting and a torrential down pour. At first we thought we were going to have to reschedule. I kept watching the radar and it looked like it was going to pass!!
Once we got there, the sun came out and so did the humidity! Walking through the grass we all got soaked and we were practically sweating through our clothes, but it was totally worth it!!
Family & Friends
Amy & April have been friends for so long their families are basically families to each other! They get along so well, their kids are so sweet and both of their husbands are hilarious!
Amy’s little girl got her first real horse this year and she tagged along so we snapped a few pictures of her as well! She then was a super helper the rest of the time and helped get the horse’s ears up!
Amy had her heart horse Hank and her new horse Ellie.
April had her mare that her husband had bought for her when they first met over 20 years ago. She is now 27 and looks amazing!
After all the pictures were done, the guys had cooked hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill and Amy brought some homemade Cheer-wine Ice cream!
