Tybee Island Bride

Kelly is one of those people that you meet and instantly feel connected to.  We grew up together from middle school all the way through high school and I always remember has as always happy and bubbly and she never met a stranger. Being such an amazing person she has also suffered life threatening health issues and the loss of her mom who was her best friend.  Her one request during her bridal pictures was to take a picture on the beach where her mom’s ashes had been scattered.

We drew out the exact coordinates where her mom’s ashes had been spread and while we were shooting I got cold chills down the back of my neck and it felt like her mom was right there with us.

I know I shoot cowgirls all the time but a free spirit like Kelly who has been through so much and still stands strong and a smile on her face inspires me so much.  These pictures made my heart so happy because I felt like Kelly shined and everyone on the beach was beaming for her!
